So much to do in Arecibo

One thing on Barnes list was to see the Arecibo Observatory. The radio telescope that was in movies such as 007 and Contact. We decided to drive to the south coast and try and get some wind. We found a gorgeous spot our friends Ryan and Erika told us about but there was just a breath of wind. Instead of waiting around for it we decided to hit the road at make our way to the Bad Banana Ranch in Utuado.

The road to get to Utuado from the south coast is long and windy. We thought we could squeeze in one more activity but it was getting late and we new our rental car was probably not going to make it up the wet muddy "drive way" to the ranch.

Like we thought we had to park the car basically in front of the farm takers house because our lame SUV rental couldn't make it up the wet muddy hill. I made the mistake of letting the girls out into the rain which they didn't not like at all and jumped back into the car! Red muddy paw prints everywhere!!! Anyway we made it to the ranch and Matt got started making the fire while we started our hobo meals.
The girls always get the best seat in the house
 Best dessert ever!
 Morning view
The next day consisted of taking Karlene and Barnes to the telescope and petrified sand dunes. I stayed on the beach with the girls while they walked around and snorkeled. I either left the girls bag with their food, Sin's shock collar and Kristahs medication in it on the beach or it got stolen so they got left over hobo meal for dinner! Besides loosing the bag it was a great trip thanks to Troy and Justin letting us stay at BBR.
