Day Trippin'

Time to visit El Moro again and see what fort Matt and Karlene like best. I even saw a couple of things I didn't see last time.
I like triangle stairs more that circular stairs.
Trying to figure out if these semi circular paths positioned the canons, never did find out.
Big man in a little tunnel
Shrapnel that got through the fort walls
I found an Alice in Wonderland door! Where's the magic mushroom I need to eat?
Barnes found Toro Verde Adventure Park. They offer zip lining, rappelling, mountain bike trails and suspension bridges. We of course went straight to the craziest thing they offer...The Beast zip line. This one zip line is 4,745 feet long! Thanks to Karlene for sneaking her camera in!

"Ok crazy picture!"
 "Ready?"
 Don't look down!
The long bumpy ride back up. We all agreed this truck was probably the green bull.
Lechonera's (restaurants selling roasted pig) are big in Puerto Rico, especially in the town of Guavate. We just happened to go on Easter Sunday and it was packed full of people and loud music.
This little pig went to market, literally.
I wanted to try the blood sausage but Matt didn't even want to watch me try it!
 Matt..."Best ribs ever"
After lunch we drove up the road to a park that we had camped at the last time we were here and it has a great little walk that we could let the dogs off leash and burn off some of the pig we just ate. Unfortunately we all got bit up by some sort of "no see um" so we didn't stay long.

We looked at the map Charlie car rental gave us and found a "point of interest" San Cristóbal Canyon. It was difficult to find but well worth the 3 minutes we got to spend looking at the massive waterfall. In the deepest canyon in all of the Antilles Islands it gets dark quick, good thing Matt reminded us to grab our headlamps.
